Inspectors commended the significant progress we have made since our last full inspection in 2022, describing Newbridge – an 11-16 secondary school in Coalville - as a “caring and welcoming” environment with a “calm and orderly” atmosphere. Staged in a round-robin format, our team competed against other local schools – The Castle Rock School, Ashby School, Ivanhoe School and Ibstock Community College – in four 15-minute matches. On their route to victory, the team avoided defeat in all their fixtures, winning three and drawing one. Badminton Prodigy Shines in International competition

Having once again been selected by Badminton England, George travelled out to Düsseldorf alongside 12 other players – from the under-17 and under-15 age groups – on Tuesday, before competing in a series of matches throughout the week. Year 11 Art Students Shine at Coalville C.A.N

For this project, students were each given a copy of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and from this list they selected which one was most important to them.
